March 20, 2012 | During the week of March 12, 2012, Disney Channel clean swept the competition in Total Day for the 2nd consecutive week, standing as cable TV’s #1 network in Total Viewers (1.548 million) and TV’s #1 network in Kids 2-11 (873,000/2.2 rating), Kids 6-11 (546,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (462,000/1.9 rating). This marked Disney Channel’s 40th consecutive week as TV’s #1 network in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 – dating back to week of June 13, 2011 – a record for the network. In Kids 2-11, this marked Disney Channel’s 3rd consecutive week at #1– also a record the channel – and its 6th time in the previous 7 weeks.

March 20, 2012 | For three straight weeks this month, Cartoon Network claimed television’s #1 network for the week among boys (2-11, 6-11, 9-14) in Early Evening Prime (7-9 p.m.), charting remarkable double-digit delivery growth across all kids demos in both Prime and Total Day ranging between 10% and 22%. In Prime (7-9 p.m.), average kids 2-11 delivery (810,000) grew by 13%, kids 6-11 (595,000) by 22% and kids 9-14 (473,000) by 18%. In Total Day, average kids 2-11 (536,000) grew by 10%, kids 6-11 (351,000) by 15% and kids 9-14 (283,000) by 16%.

The all-new series centers around a new Avatar named Korra, a 17-year-old headstrong and rebellious girl who continually challenges and bucks tradition on her quest to become a fully realized Avatar in a world where benders are under attack. March 13, 2012 | Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush scored for the network this weekend with the primetime premiere of the brand-new original TV movie, Big Time Movie (Saturday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT), which averaged 4.1 million total viewers and ranks as the week's (3/4/12-3/11/12) number-one telecast with kids 2-11 (6.1/2.2 million), kids 6-11 (8.9/1.9 million) and tweens 9-14 (8.2/1.7 million). Overall, the Big Time Movie reached 13.1 million total viewers over the weekend*.
