“Zak Storm: Super Pirate” coming to Discovery Family

- French CG-animated series Zak Storm: Super Pirate, from the same people who work on Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, is coming to Discovery Family channel this September.

“Transformers Rescue Bots” Season 3 Premieres November 1

- Returning for an action-packed third season of new adventures is "Transformers Rescue Bots," the animated series created for younger TRANSFORMERS fans, on Saturday, November 1, with two back-to-back episodes at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET/10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. PT, on Discovery Family Channel. The series is produced by Hasbro Studios.

Hub Network Becomes Discovery Family Channel October 13

- Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc. today announced The Hub Network will become Discovery Family Channel effective October 13, 2014.

Discovery Taking Control of Hub Network, Renaming Discovery Family

- Multiple media outlets have reported today that the 50-50 joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro Inc., which saw Discovery Kids become The Hub in October 2010, will shift giving Discovery control and reducing Hasbro to controlled timeslots.

Fall Schedules: Little Change, Less Variety

- As has been the case for a while now, the kids cable networks aren’t making many big changes and are playing things pretty safe season-to-season. In days of yore, said networks would usually change things up for the summer months and then shake their schedules up again for the fall. Not so much any more.

“The Haunting Hour” Returns for Season 4 on October 4th

- "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series," the Hub Network's hit, spooky anthology series, inspired by the master of kids' horror R.L. Stine ("Goosebumps"), returns Saturday, October 4 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT with several stand-out guest stars.

Hub Network Airing Nickelodeon Movies “Barnyard” & “Harriet the Spy”

- Oddly, though not as unexpected as you might think, the Hub Network will be airing at least two Nickelodeon Movies in September – the animated Barnyard: The Original Party Animals from 2006 and the 1996 Harriet the Spy.

Hub Network’s “Parents Just Don’t Understand” Series Premieres August 23

- The Hub Network will premiere the unscripted, parent-child swap series "Parents Just Don't Understand" on Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with musician and TV personality, Joey Fatone ('N Sync, "Rewrapped"), as the host.

Hub Network to Air “Bark Week” Programming August 17-22

- Starting Sunday, August 17 to Friday, August 22, the Network is bringing everyone's favorite family member and best friend to its air with "Bark Week," a special week full of fun canine programming for dog-lovers of all ages to enjoy.
