Vortexx Adds “Spectacular Spider-Man,” “Digimon Fusion” and “Bolts & Blip” This Fall

- In an advertisement on today’s edition of Cynopsis Kids, Vortexx announced it will be adding repeats of The Spectacular Spider-Man as well as premieres of Digimon Fusion and a new series Bolts & Blip this fall.

Vortexx Adds “The New Adventures of Nanoboy” Starting Saturday, March 9

- Vortexx on The CW, an affiliate of Saban Brands, today announced The New Adventures of Nanoboy, an Educational and Informational (E/I) program, will make its way onto the kids programming block this Saturday, March 9. The series will be featured with back-to-back episodes at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

News Bits: Nicktoons Pulls “Yu-Gi-Oh!” Launch, Schedules “Alien Dawn” Premiere; Vortexx Changes

- Late last week, TV schedules updated to show that Nicktoons was not airing Yu-Gi-Oh! this week, as they had announced and promoted previously. On-air promos were gone by late last week, but the show page on Nicktoons.com continued to say “Premieres January 14 at 9pm ET” up until this morning.

“Transformers Prime” Joining Vortexx on December 8

- Transformers Prime, which airs on The Hub and is produced by Hasbro, will join Saban Brands’ Vortexx programming block on The CW starting Saturday, December 8.

Vortexx Adds “Sonic X” Starting October 6

- The CW’s Saturday morning Vortexx block (run by Saban Brands) made their first schedule change last week (September 22) by replacing Cubix at 7am with a second Rescue Heroes (which also airs at 7:30am). That makes up the block’s required E/I hour.

New “Cookie Jar TV” on CBS Line-Up Announced

- CBS and Cookie Jar Entertainment present the new children's program schedule premiering Saturday, Sept. 22 on the CBS Television Network. The three-hour E/I-compliant programming block, exclusive to broadcast television, is comprised of the new show "Liberty's Kids," plus new episodes of returning favorites "The Doodlebops" and repeat episodes of "Busytown Mysteries."

“WWE Saturday Morning Slam” Tops Vortexx’s Ratings

- The series premiere of WWE Saturday Morning Slam on August 25 (CW, 10-10:30am) was Saturday morning’s (7am-12pm) most watched program on CW among total viewers and the following kids demos: Kids under 18, Kids 2-5, Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Kids 9-14, Boys under 18, Boys 2-5, Boys 2-11, Boys 6-11, Girls under 18, Girls 2-11, Girls 6-11, Girls 9-14 and Female Teens (F12-17).

This TV Adds “Metajets,” “Action Man,” “Sabrina”; “Inspector Gadget” Returns This Fall

- This TV, a digital broadcast network, airs a block of children’s programming every morning called “Cookie Jar Toons / This Is For Kids” featuring shows from the Cookie Jar library.

Vortexx Announces Programming Line-Up Starting August 25

- Today Saban Brands announced new original content from WWE will anchor its programming block, dubbed Vortexx, which debuts nationwide on The CW August 25th. WWE Saturday Morning Slam packs the riveting in-ring action, the larger-than-life WWE Superstars, and WWE's kid-friendly entertainment into the fastest, most energy-filled half-hour on television. WWE Superstar profiles, behind-the-scenes footage and an exclusive WWE match every week will all combine to make WWE Saturday Morning Slam the perfect destination for the youngest viewers in the WWE Universe.

“WWE Saturday Morning Slam” Premieres Saturday, August 25 on Vortexx

- WWE (NYSE: WWE) and Saban Brands today announced a new, weekly half-hour show, WWE Saturday Morning Slam, that will debut on Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. WWE Saturday Morning Slam will be part of the television premiere of Vortexx on The CW, a Saturday morning kids’ television block, reaching 114 million U.S. television households. This marks the first time, since 2001, WWE will have a program in a kids’ time slot and reinforces WWE’s commitment to kid-friendly entertainment.
