Oh Yeah! Cartoons
Oh Yeah! Cartoons premiered in July 1998 on Nickelodeon. The animated anthology series ran for three seasons and 34 half-hour episodes.
Created by Fred Seibert, the series served as a pilot program, resulting in the spin-offs of The Fairly OddParents, ChalkZone, and My Life as a Teenage Robot for Nickelodeon, as well as Moville Mysteries (but that was not produced by/for Nick).
The series wraparound segments were hosted by various kids in the first season (and the #999 compilation special), by Kenan Thompson in the second season, and by Josh Server for the final season.
A fourth season was announced in 2005 but ended up becoming its own series: Random! Cartoons, which aired in 2008 on Nicktoons Network.
About The Show
We took the first TV channel just for kids, added a heapin’ helpin’ of the world’s greatest animators, threw the whole mess in the blender, and you know what we got? “Oh Yeah! Cartoons” of course! “Oh Yeah!” features three brand-new off-the-wall cartoons every week, each one with its own unique style and bizarro personality!
