The first Nickelodeon series to debut on Netflix, Pinky Malinky, will launch on Janaury 1, 2019.

The video page on Netflix’s website describes the show as: “Pinky Malinky sees the bright side of everything, including being born a hot dog. With his BFFs in tow, this little wiener takes a bite out of life.”

Nickelodeon first announced the series in August 2015. The series was mentioned again at Nick’s upfront presentation in 2016 and 2017, but not in 2018. Then this past June, Deadline learned that the series was headed for a Netflix streaming debut in a first-of-its-kind agreement between Nick and Netflix.

UPDATE: A trailer was released by Netflix on December 12.
