Nicktoons & TeenNick Schedule Changes Starting This Weekend
Nicktoons and TeenNick are making a few changes to their line-ups starting this weekend. Rocket Power is added to TeenNick’s ’90s block and after being back just a little over a month, Danny Phantom is gone from Nicktoons as is T.U.F.F. Puppy. All That will also exit TeenNick’s 90s block, while Kenan & Kel shifts to regular TeenNick.
While the majority of the changes start next week, a couple will begin this weekend. Though to keep things simple, I’ll refer to them in a traditional week perspective.
Nicktoons adds more Power Rangers Megaforce to the line-up, with an additional airing weekdays at 6:30am. The 6-7am Megaforce hour will have a separate run from the 9am Megaforce showing. Returning to weekdays is Dragon Ball GT airing at 7am. Both Megaforce and GT replace morning Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles airings, but not to worry – Nicktoons is giving the Turtles an upgrade! TMNT will now air weekdays from 3-4pm and again from 6-7pm (all times for both Nicktoons and TeenNick are Eastern).
With TMNT in the 3pm hour, Danny Phantom is once again gone. Monsters vs. Aliens moves up to the 4pm hour, replacing one of the two Kung Fu Panda hours. Turtles replaces MvA’s 6pm hour.
Saturday mornings sees less action with Rush Zone and Digimon Fusion repeats in the 9am hour being replaced by Planet Sheen. Kung Fu Panda’s 10am hour also gets bumped for a daylight hour of Fanboy & Chum Chum. T.U.F.F. Puppy’s 1pm hour goes to Avatar and Family BrainSurge’s 2pm hour belongs to Dragon Ball GT once again.
Lastly, on Sundays get more Turtles. Nick’s TMNTseries takes over the SpongeBob block from 8-11:30pm. That’s not a move you typically see – something green replacing the old yellow!
On to TeenNick, there changes start this weekend, so I’ll start there. Ned’s Declassifiedmoves into the 6am hour, replacing Big Time Rush. Instead, TeenNick will now go with two hour blocks of Big Time Rushfrom 8-10am and VICTORiOUSfrom 10am-noon. No shows are being replaced, just moved around a bit.
Rocket Power joins TeenNick’s The ‘90s Are All That block (despite the show airing most of its episodes in the 2000s). The Klasky Csupo series will air weekends from 12-1am and 2-3am, replacing Kenan & Kel and All That, which is off the line-up.
UPDATE: Kenan & Kel, however, moves to weekdays – airing Tuesday through Friday from 6-7pm, replacing Drake & Josh. Ned’s Declassified also picks up the 7pm hour on weekdays, replacing Zoey 101.
Encores of Nick’s new game show Webheadsare airing weekdays at 10pm followed now by an extra Drake & Josh(which is replaced in the 6pm hour).
