Super Rapper Lil’ Romeo Mixes It Up On Kids’ WB! When He Guest-Stars On The Hit Series “Static Shock,” Saturday, April 19

(March 31, 2003 – Burbank, CA) — Kids’ WB! welcomes super rapper Lil’ Romeo to the top-rated Saturday morning network when he guest-stars as himself on the high-adventure animated hit series “Static Shock,” Saturday, April 19 (10:30 a.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT). In the highly anticipated episode, “Romeo In The Mix,” the hip-hop musician joins forces with Static in an attempt to defeat The Leech – a metahuman that is stealing metahuman powers. Can they overpower The Leech before it’s too late?

The music-driven episode also will feature two of Lil’ Romeo’s hot songs – “Play Like Us” and “Bring It” from his most recent hit album, Game Time. Lil’ Romeo already heats up the airwaves with his original rap performance of “Static Shock’s” new main title theme song, co-written with his father Master P, adding his uniqueness and bolting energy to this electrifying third season.

From Warner Bros. Animation, “Static Shock” follows the exploits of the first African-American teenage superhero, quick-witted Virgil Hawkins, who has electromagnetic superpowers. After being exposed to a mutagenetic gas, Virgil became “Static,” an urban hero of his own creation. In this exciting third season, Static and his best friend Richie — a.k.a. Gear — team up as the new justice-enforcing duo of Dakota and will need all of their meta-skills as they tackle some of their most challenging opponents yet.
