Posted on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 by BryanDelivering the week’s Top 5 cable TV telecasts fronted by all-new episodes of hit series “Shake It Up,” “Good Luck Charlie” and “Wizards of Waverly Place,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 8th consecutive week among Tweens 9-14 (533,000/2.2 rating). -
Sunday 1/16 Cable Ratings: A Good Night for Disney Channel
Posted on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 by BryanWe've reported multiple times now on Disney Channel's Sunday night ratings victories, but we now add one more bit of info: adults 18-49 - which were pretty good for cable standards. Especially a network targeted at kids. To bad for Disney that Hannah Montana is over and Suite Life on Deck is nearing an end (it has yet to be renewed for a fourth season). At least Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up are two freshman series with great ratings thus far. -

In Prime, the channel delivered its 287th consecutive weekly win among Kids 6-11 (940,000/3.8 rating) and ranked No. 1 for the 284th time in the previous 287 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (814,000/3.3 rating). -
Disney Channel and Disney XD Get Into the Holiday Spirit Starting November 28
Posted on Friday, October 29, 2010 by BryanDisney Channel and Disney XD spread the holiday cheer with all new seasonal episodes of “Sonny with a Chance,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” “Phineas and Ferb,” “Zeke and Luther,” “Handy Manny” and “Special Agent Oso” beginning SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28. The season includes Joe Jonas guest starring in a new special, “So Random!,” based on the sketch comedy show seen in the hit series “Sonny with a Chance,” and a multi-platform presentation of the holiday classic in the making, “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” (in an extended edition), on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family and the ABC Television Network. Last year the premiere of “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” set all-time high ratings records for Disney XD, delivering 2.88 million Total Viewers and series ratings highs on Disney Channel, where it delivered 5.21 million Total Viewers. -

The movie is set to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel. -

This marked the third consecutive week that Disney Channel outdelivered Nickelodeon among Kids 6-11 (700,000 vs. 647,000), and the 11th week in a row among Tweens 9-14. -
