Nickelodeon closed the third week of October (10/13/14-10/19/14) as basic cable’s number-one total day network with Kids 2-11 (2.0/620K) and total viewers (1.2M). The net’s weekly win was fueled by strong performances across its animation and live-action lineup.
Nickelodeon was the top-rated total day network for the 3Q14 with Kids 2-11 (2.4/748K); and among total viewers, the network averaged 1.4M P2+ this quarter. Additionally, the network won the month of September with Kids 2-11, averaging a 2.0/636K with the demo, as well as securing 1.2M total viewers.
Nickelodeon closed the first week of June (5/26/14-6/1/14) as basic cable’s number-one network in total day with Kids 2-11 (2.7/844K) and total viewers (1.6M), marking the net’s 21st consecutive weekly win.

Nickelodeon opened the new year with year-over-year gains among Kids 2-11 (3.2/1.0M, +7%), Kids 2-5 (3.7/461K, +12%) and Kids 6-11 (2.9/557K, +7%) and averaged 1.9 million total viewers for the week (12/30/13-1/5/14).
Nickelodeon closed the week (11/25/13-12/1/13) with double-digit year over year gains with Kids 2-11 (3.2/1.0M, +14%), Kids 6-11 (2.8/552K, +17%) and Tweens 9-14 (1.9/373K, +19%) and averaged 1.9M total viewers for the week.
This September, Nickelodeon is updating their regular schedule and have scheduled a ton of premiere episodes.
Nickelodeon continues to celebrate a sports-filled summer with new primetime specials of preschool favorites Dora the Explorer and Team Umizoomi on Monday, Aug. 13. First, Dora gets the chance to perform a special ribbon dance in “Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure,” at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Then, the mighty miniature math superheroes, Team Umizoomi, go for the gold in “Team Umizoomi: The Umi Games,” at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
For the week of March 26, 2012, Disney Junior on Disney Channel delivered the week’s #1 TV series in target preschoolers aged 2-5 with newcomer “Doc McStuffins” and the Top 3 TV series in Boys 2-5 with “Doc McStuffins,” “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” Moreover, on the heels of its week-ago record debut, “Doc McStuffins” accounted for the week’s Top 2 TV telecasts in Kids 2-5 (Top 5 among preschool series only) and the Top 3 TV telecasts in Boys 2-5. Also impressive, the Disney Junior block delivered the week’s Top 5 preschool telecasts in Women 18-49 (see below).
For the week of March 12, 2012, Disney Junior’s sneak peeks of upcoming original series “Doc McStuffins” were the week’s #1 TV Telecasts in Kids 2-5 (868,000/5.2 rating, Sat.), Boys 2-5 (503,000/5.9 rating, Sun.) and Girls 2-5 (460,000/5.7 rating, Sat.), and the #1 preschool cable telecast in Total Viewers (2.592 million).
Nickelodeon is headed to Toy Fair 2012 with its most comprehensive and diversified toy portfolio ever, based on popular entertainment brands for preschoolers, kids, and tweens. Nickelodeon will unveil products for both new and established properties, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Winx Club, Team Umizoomi, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Victorious.
Nickelodeon’s iCarly scored the top entertainment telecast for the week (1/16-1/22/12) with a new episode titled “iToe Fat Cakes,” (Saturday, Jan. 21 at 8p.m. ET/PT), drawing 4.8 million viewers (up +62% over last year’s time period). The half-hour episode ranks as this week’s number-one entertainment program with kid and tween demos, posting double and triple-digit gains and averaging a 7.1/2.5 million (+54%) K2-11, 9.4/2 million (+68%) K6-11, and 8.9/1.9 million (+128%) T9-14.

Nick’s win was driven by hit live-action series, Victorious and ratings phenomenon, SpongeBob SquarePants, which rank as the top live-action and animated series, respectively, with kids and tweens across all TV for the month. Nickelodeon also bested its closest competitor by double digits with total viewers (+31%), kids 2-11 (+24%) and kids 2-5 (+70%).
Nickelodeon continues to score in the ratings game, closing the week (5/9/11-5/15/11) as basic cable’s number-one total day network with total viewers (2.1 million) and kids 2-11 (3.2/1.2 million), and kids 6-11 (2.6/574,000). The net also bested its closest competitor by double-digits with total viewers (+36%), kids 2-11 (+33%), and kids 2-5 (+78%).
