It would seem that Disney Channel has made the extended weekly Disney Replay block a permanent thing. Through September, the block will continue to air on late-Wednesday nights (early Thursday mornings) from midnight through 6am ET/PT.
During the week of May 30, owning the week’s Top 2 TV telecasts with the series debut of “So Random!” and a Season 2 high performance by “Good Luck Charlie,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day among Tweens 9-14 (534,000/2.2 rating) for the 6th straight week, and for the 24th time in the previous 27 weeks. In addition, this week stood as Disney Channel’s most-watched week among Kids 6-11 in 19 weeks (650,000/2.6 rating) and among Tweens 9-14 in 17 weeks – since weeks of 1/17/11 and 1/31/11, respectively.
Featuring an ensemble of talented young actors, the comedy series “So Random!,” first introduced in “Sonny With A Chance,” will air SUNDAY, JUNE 5 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The series will feature original comedic vignettes parodying pop culture and a wide variety of everyday life, big and small.

Impressively, January 11 became the channel’s most-watched non-summer month in its history in the same key demographics. Year to year, Disney Channel posted solid double-digit percent gains in Kids 6-11 (+12% – 673,000 vs. 600,000) and Tweens 9-14 (+10% – 549,000 vs. 499,000).
Powered by an unparalleled slate of original programming for kids and families — notably newcomers “Shake It Up and family comedy “Good Luck Charlie,” and “Hannah Montana Forever” — and the No. 1 TV/Cable movie with “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” Disney Channel recorded its most-watched year in the network’s history in Total Viewers and key kid targets.
Airing the week’s Top 5 TV telecasts and 8 of the Top 10 overall, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day among Tweens 9-14 (492,000/2.0 rating), topping runner-up Nickelodeon by a solid 9% (450,000/1.8 rating).

Fueled by Friday and Sunday’s “Night of Premieres,” Disney Channel was the week’s No. 1 TV network in Total Day among Kids 6-11 (700,000/2.8 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (599,000/2.5 rating), towering over Nickelodeon by a considerable 22% in the Tween demo (599,000 vs. 490,000). This marked the third consecutive week that Disney Channel outdelivered Nickelodeon among Kids 6-11 (700,000 vs. 647,000), and the 11th week in a row among Tweens 9-14.

Disney Channel stood as the month’s No. 1 TV network in Total Day in Kids 6-11 (837,000/3.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (730,000/3.0 rating), topping runner-up Nickelodeon by 9% (837,000 vs. 769,000) and by a huge 26% (730,000 vs. 581,000), respectively.
