Disney Channel Ratings Highlights for May 30 – June 5, 2011
Posted on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 by BryanDuring the week of May 30, owning the week’s Top 2 TV telecasts with the series debut of “So Random!” and a Season 2 high performance by “Good Luck Charlie,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day among Tweens 9-14 (534,000/2.2 rating) for the 6th straight week, and for the 24th time in the previous 27 weeks. In addition, this week stood as Disney Channel’s most-watched week among Kids 6-11 in 19 weeks (650,000/2.6 rating) and among Tweens 9-14 in 17 weeks – since weeks of 1/17/11 and 1/31/11, respectively. -
“So Random!” Premieres Sunday, June 5 on Disney Channel

Posted on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 by BryanBoasting TV’s Top 10 scripted telecasts fronted my multiple telecasts of “Good Luck Charlie,” “Shake It Up” and “The Suite Life on Deck,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 9th consecutive month among Tweens 9-14 (549,000/2.3 rating), delivering its largest January audience on record in the target demo, as well as among Total Viewers (1.81 million) and Kids 6-11 (673,000/2.7 rating). Impressively, January 11 became the channel’s most-watched non-summer month in its history in the same key demographics. Year to year, Disney Channel posted solid double-digit percent gains in Kids 6-11 (+12% - 673,000 vs. 600,000) and Tweens 9-14 (+10% - 549,000 vs. 499,000). -

The season includes Joe Jonas guest starring in a new special, “So Random!,” based on the sketch comedy show seen in the hit series “Sonny with a Chance,” and a multi-platform presentation of the holiday classic in the making, “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” (in an extended edition), on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family and the ABC Television Network. Last year the premiere of “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” set all-time high ratings records for Disney XD, delivering 2.88 million Total Viewers and series ratings highs on Disney Channel, where it delivered 5.21 million Total Viewers.
