“Power Rangers Samurai” Premieres Monday, February 7 on Nickelodeon
Posted on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 by BryanNickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, introduces a new generation of kids to the legendary Power Rangers franchise with the prime-time premiere of Power Rangers Samurai, on Monday, Feb. 7, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Combining comedy with action-filled storylines, the all-new half-hour series features a new cast of Rangers and never-before-seen villains, as well as high-octane action, martial arts and advanced special effects. From SCG Power Rangers LLC, an affiliate of Saban Brands, the long-running hit kids' TV phenomenon, now heading into its 19th season, is helmed by Haim Saban, who created and produced the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" series in 1993. Following the premiere, the show will air regularly Sundays at noon (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, with encores Saturdays at noon on Nickelodeon and Fridays from 8 to 9 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons. -

Nickelodeon Orders New Comedy “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures” by Tom Lynch for February 2011
Posted on Thursday, December 16, 2010 by BryanNickelodeon has picked up the new multi-camera comedy series Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures to add to its full slate of brand-new programming coming in 1Q 2011, it was announced today by Marjorie Cohn, President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon. A multi-camera buddy comedy about two best friends on a never-ending quest for awesomeness, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures is from executive producer Tom Lynch (The Troop, South of Nowhere), creators/executive producers Boyce Bugliari and Jamie McLaughlin (Quintuplets, Kid Notorious) and executive producer Jonathan Stark (According to Jim) under The Tom Lynch Company banner. The series begins production this month in Los Angeles for a February 2011 premiere in the U.S. and globally on Nick channels around the world. -

Posted on Monday, November 8, 2010 by BryanSome of Nickelodeon's most popular stars will participate in the 84th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® on Thursday, Nov. 25. iCarly star and teen sensation Miranda Cosgrove, one of the voices featured in the animated blockbuster hit film, Despicable Me, will make a special appearance on the Statue of Liberty Float with her co-stars the Minions. Big Time Rush, whose debut album entered the Billboard 200 at #3, will perform live at the Parade on Hess's Bridge to the Future float. Victoria Justice, star of Victorious, will perform on the Build-A-Bear Workshop®'s International Cele-bear-ation Clock Tower float. An all-new Dora the Explorer float inspired by the Dora's Christmas Carol Adventure television special, will be unveiled at the Parade and will feature a performance by India.Arie. SpongeBob SquarePants will make his sixth appearance as the only "square" balloon. The Samurai Power Rangers, whose new series is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon early next year, will make their first public appearance when they walk with the Planet Earth balloon. Additionally, Po the Panda, star of DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: DWA) hit feature film Kung Fu Panda, will make his balloon debut at the Parade. -

The new site will stream all 145 episodes of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (pre-Alien Rangers) for the next 145 days. One new episode will launch each day, starting today (September 8). -

The front and back cover of the DVD reveals that Power Rangers will premiere in October on Nicktoons. The new season of Power Rangers will premiere in 2011 on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons. -

The 700-episode series has been sold to Viacom’s Nickelodeon and Nicktoons networks, along with a new 18th season, which begins production this summer. The new season will consist of 20 episodes and will air on Nickelodeon in 2011. -
