Disney Junior Ratings Highlights for January 2012
Fresh off generating Disney Channel’s biggest annual audience in the daypart on record, during January 2012, Disney Junior delivered all-time January highs across all target demos, including Total Viewers (1.403 million), Kids 2-5 (525,000/3.1 rating), Boys 2-5 (277,000/3.3 rating), Girls 2-5 (247,000/3.0 rating) and Women 18-49 (304,000/0.5 rating), soaring by huge double-digit percent margins in target demos over year-ago levels.

24-Hour Disney Junior Cable Channel Launches Friday, March 23
Disney Junior, a 24-hour basic cable/satellite channel expressly for kids age 2-7 and their parents/caregivers, will launch FRIDAY, MARCH 23 (12:00 midnight, ET/PT) in the U.S., joining 28 other Disney Junior channels around the world. The announcement was made today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, California, by Gary Marsh, President and Chief Creative Officer, Disney Channels Worldwide. Disney Junior was introduced as a daily programming block on Disney Channel in February 2010 and, year to year, its ratings are up 26% among Kids 2-5 and 36% among Boys 2-5.

Disney Junior Ratings Highlights for 2011
In its first year, Disney Junior, the daily programming block for kids age 2-7 on Disney Channel, posted the network’s biggest yearly audience in the daypart in Total Viewers (1.3 million), Kids 2-5 (450,000/2.7 rating), Boys 2-5 (251,000/2.9 rating), Girls 2-5 (199,000/2.9 rating) and Women 18-49 (254,000/0.4 rating), increasing by double-digit percent margins among preschooler demographics over year-ago levels. Its launch series “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” sailed to hit status, ranking as cable TV’s #1 series of the year among Boys 2-5 while viewer favorite “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” delivered the year’s #1 cable telecast among Kids 2-5 and Boys 2-5.

For the week of November 7, 2011, Disney Junior delivered its biggest week of Fall 2011 in Total Viewers (1.36 million), Kids 2-5 (547,000/3.3 rating), Boys 2-5 (322,000/3.8 rating), Girls 2-5 (225,000/2.8 rating) and Women 18-49 (274,000/0.4 rating), surging over year-ago averages among its core preschool demos, including by 29% in Kids 2-5 (vs. 425,000) and by 46% in Boys 2-5 (322,000 vs. 220,000).

Disney Junior Honors Donald Duck’s Birthday on June 9 With “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” Marathon & Premiere
Disney Junior’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” celebrates Donald Duck with a new episode and Donald-themed marathon of the Emmy-nominated series airing on the famous duck’s birthday, THURSDAY, JUNE 9 (6:00–11:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. In the new episode, “Donald’s Clubhouse” (9:00 a.m. ET/PT), Mickey leaves Donald in charge of the Clubhouse, but when Donald and Goofy accidentally turn a small mess into a big mess, the whole gang must work together to tidy up in time for a visit from Mother Goose Clarabelle and her Cluck-Cluck trio of singing chickens.
