“Disney Super Speedway” Game Launches on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Disney/ABC Television Group’s Digital Media team is launching “Disney Super Speedway,” a new racer game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Fans can burn rubber as animated characters from hit Disney Channel animated series, including “Phineas and Ferb,” “Gravity Falls” and “Fish Hooks,” and Disney XD’s “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,” “Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil” and “Motorcity.” The game is also available at DisneyChannel.com/Race and DisneyXD.com/Race.

The nominees for the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced this morning. The categories with nominees from Nickelodeon (25 total nominations), The Hub (8), Disney Channel (5), Disney XD (3), Nick Jr. (3) and Cartoon Network (2) are listed below.

Disney XD Ratings Highlights for 1Q 2011

During 1Q11, Disney XD delivered its largest quarterly audience in the network’s history in Total Day (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (288,000) and across all key kid targets: Kids 6-14 (147,000), Boys 6-14 (95,000), Kids 6-11 (120,000), Boys 6-11 (77,000), Tweens 9-14 (93,000) and Tween Boys (60,000).

Second Season of “Kick Buttowski” Starts April 30 on Disney XD

Disney XD’s hit animated series, “Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil,” begins its star-studded second season with NBA star Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic) in a guest starring role, SATURDAY, APRIL 30 (8:30 a.m., ET/PT). The sophomore season premiere also guest stars Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”).

With strong performance by the network’s expanding slate of original series — most notably its No. 1 series “Pair of Kings” and its No. 1 original animated series “Kick Buttowski” — along with Disney theatricals “Toy Story,” “Toy Story 2” and “Ratatouille,” Disney XD delivered its largest annual audience in the net’s history in Total Day (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (270,000) and across all key kid targets, including Kids 6-14 (132,000), Boys 6-14 (86,000), Kids 6-11 (107,000) and Boys 6-11 (69,000), posting solid double-digit percent increases in all key breaks.
