Gaining momentum each week, Disney XD’s “Crash & Bernstein” posted series highs in target demos, while lead-in “Kickin’ It” delivered its best telecast in 16 months, with the two series combining to deliver the network’s best numbers in the hour in three months – since 8/13/12.

“Slugterra,” a sci-fi comedy adventure set in a fantastical underground world, debuts MONDAY, OCTOBER 15 (3:30 p.m., ET/PT), with new episodes premiering Monday through Friday on Disney XD. Production has begun in Hollywood, California, on “Crash & Bernstein,” a live action comedy series — with hand puppetry — that follows Wyatt Bernstein, the only son among four kids, whose new puppet, Crash, comes to life and becomes his loud-mouthed surrogate brother who knows no limits. The multi-camera series is scheduled to premiere in fall 2012 on Disney XD. The puppet was designed and built by Chiodo Brothers Productions, Inc, based in Burbank, California.
Disney XD has ordered “Crash & Bernstein,” a live-action comedy — with puppetry — about 14-year-old Wyatt Bernstein, the only son among four kids, who finally gets his dream of having a loud-mouthed brother when his puppet, Crash, comes to life. Crash brings Wyatt some much needed “boy reinforcement” amidst a household of sisters. Created by Eric Friedman (“Austin & Ally,” “I’m In The Band”), the multi-camera series will begin production in Hollywood in May for a Fall 2012 premiere on Disney XD. The announcement was made today by Adam Bonnett, senior vice president, original programming, Disney Channel.
