Friday 2/5 Cable Ratings: iCarly, Big Time Rush, Star Wars The Clone Wars, Ben 10 Alien Force, Johnny Test

The new episode of iCarly at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon scored 4.839 million total viewers, 2.9/5 household rating, 0.8/3 adults 18-49, 3.4/15 teens 12-17 and 6.8/25 kids 2-11.  The episode is down slightly from the previous week’s new episode.

Following iCarly at 8:30 p.m. ET was a new episode of Big Time Rush with 3.727 million viewers, 2.3/4 household rating, 0.6/2 adults 18-49, 2.1/9 teens 12-17 and 5.4/19 kids 2-11.

On Cartoon Network:

iCarly’s “iSaved Your Life”—which ranks as the highest-rated and most-watched iCarly telecast ever among total viewers, kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens–averaged a 21.8/4.7 million K6-11 (+211% over last year); a 20.9/4.5 million T9-14 (+267%) and a 16.0/5.7 million K2-11 (+142%).

Big Time Rush—the highest-rated and most-watched live-action series premiere with kids, tweens and total viewers among all Nick series—averaged 6.8 million P2+, a 13.1/2.8 million T9-14 (+105%); a 14.5/3.1 million K6-11 (+93%) and a 10.6/3.8 million K2-11 (+61%) in its debut.

Nickelodeon averaged a 3.8/1.3 million K2-11 (+9% over last year’s like time period), 3.3/704,000 K6-11 (+10%), 2.3/496,000 T9-14 (+10%) and 2.4 million total viewers (+7%) for the week.

Driven by the record-setting performance of “Wizards of Waverly Place” and near record-setting delivery for an all-new “The Suite Life on Deck,” Disney Channel was TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day in Tweens 9-14 (501,000/2.1 rating).

In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as cable’s No. 1 network to 251 consecutive weeks in Kids 6-11 (1.07 million/4.4 rating) and to 247 straight weeks in Tweens 9-14 (908,000/3.7 rating), closing in on 5 years of dominance on a weekly basis. In addition, this week stood as the net’s most-watched week in Prime in 3 months in Kids 6-11 (since week of 10/19/09), and in nearly 3 months in Tweens 9-14 (since week of 11/2/09).

Friday’s all-new one-hour “Wizards of Waverly Place” became the show’s No. 1 telecast on record in Total Viewers (6.2 million) and Kids 6-11 (2.6 million/10.8 rating), and delivered the show’s 3rd-largest audience ever in Tweens 9-14 (2.4 million/9.8 rating).

In Tweens 9-14, Disney Channel held 5 of TV’s Top 10 series: “JONAS” (No. 5 – 1.23 million/5.0 rating), “Wizards of Waverly Place” (No. 7 – 936,000/3.8 rating), “The Suite Life on Deck” (No. 8 – 865,000/3.6 rating), “Wizards of Waverly Place – Late Night” (No. 9 – 794,000/3.3 rating) and “Phineas and Ferb” (No. 10 – 762,000/3.1 rating).

In Kids 6-11, Disney Channel delivered 4 of TV’s Top 10 series: “JONAS” (No. 6 – 1.26 million/5.1 rating), “Wizards of Waverly Place” (No. 7 – 1.16 million/4.7 rating), “The Suite Life on Deck” (No. 9 – 1.02 million/4.2 rating) and “Phineas and Ferb” (No. 9 – 939,000/3.8 rating).

Playhouse Disney’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” ranked among cable’s No. 10 programs with target preschoolers Kids 2-5 (No. 8 – 752,000/4.5 rating).

Cartoon Network’s original animated series showed impressive gains last week with premiere episodes leading to significant double-digit gains across key kids demos. Ben 10: Alien Force (Friday, 8:30 p.m.) earned 30% delivery and ratings gains among kids 6-11, and 56% delivery and ratings increases among kids 2-11. Boys 6-11 delivery and ratings scored 41% improvement vs. the same time period last year, while boys 2-11 delivery grew by 56% and ratings by 54%. Chowder (Thursday, 8:30 p.m.) charted 30% delivery and 32% ratings gains among kids 6-11, and 9% delivery and 10% ratings gains among kids 2-11.
