‘Kids’ Choice Sports’ airs July 16

The only kids’ show celebrating the world’s best athletes and epic sports moments, Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 welcomes back Seattle Seahawks’ franchise quarterback and Super Bowl champion, Russell Wilson as host. Airing Sunday, July 16, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), Kids’ Choice Sports 2017 will be taped live on Thursday, July 13, from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.

‘Star vs’ TV movie set for July 15

A special two-hour “Star vs. The Forces of Evil” TV movie event will premiere SATURDAY, JULY 15, on Disney XD, and will be available to verified users on the Disney XD app and Disney XD VOD platforms.

Disney renews ‘Andi Mack’ for season 2

‘SpongeBob’ renewed for season 12

Nickelodeon today announced that SpongeBob SquarePants, the number-one animated show for kids 2-11 and kids 6-11, has been greenlit for season 12. The 26-episode pick up will further the nautical adventures of SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and Squidward. Season 12 is scheduled to premiere in 2019, the series’ 20th anniversary year.

Nick picks ‘Massive Monster Mayhem’ from DHX

DHX Media announces that Nickelodeon has licensed 20 half-hour episodes of Massive Monster Mayhem, an original show for kids 6–11 that combines live action and CGI animation with real competition and comedy. The series is scheduled to premiere later this year.

Nick’s ‘Thundermans’ goes over 100; net orders ‘Knight Squad’
