The CGI animated preschool series Franklin and Friends will make its United States premiere on Nickelodeon starting Monday, February 13 at 9:30am ET/PT.

Lego’s CGI animated series NinjaGo: Masters of Spinjitzu continues to soar on Cartoon Network. The series fifth premiere episode reached a series high this Wednesday (February 1) with 2.472 million total viewers at 8pm.

TELETOON Canada Inc. and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. today announced a partnership that will bring Cartoon Network and Adult Swim to Canadian television later this year. This new digital specialty network is a complementary, ad-supported channel with a built-in fan-base. Canadian audiences can expect to see shows such as The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time and Regular Show during the Cartoon Network block between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by an Adult Swim late-night lineup commencing at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Nickelodeon unveils Mike the Knight™, a brand new CG-animated preschool series that invites viewers into a fantastical world of castles, missions, dragons and trolls, on Friday, Feb. 3, at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT). The half-hour, adventure series teaches kids about friendship, loyalty, and determination as they join Mike, a young knight-in-training,on his missions to protect his kingdom, serve his Queen and become a full-fledged knight. Following the series launch, Nickelodeon will air new episodes, Monday, Feb. 6 – Thursday, Feb. 9, at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Mike the Knight, created by Alexander Bar (Lunar Jim) and penned by Marc Seal (Head Writer, Bob the Builder™), is produced by HIT Entertainment and Nelvana Studio. The series (26 episodes) will regularly air weekdays at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Across January 2012, Cartoon Network earned television’s #1 network ranking in early prime (7-9 p.m.) among boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 – broadcast and cable – on Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday night; charting mostly double-digit delivery gains vs. January 2011.

Fresh off generating Disney Channel’s biggest annual audience in the daypart on record, during January 2012, Disney Junior delivered all-time January highs across all target demos, including Total Viewers (1.403 million), Kids 2-5 (525,000/3.1 rating), Boys 2-5 (277,000/3.3 rating), Girls 2-5 (247,000/3.0 rating) and Women 18-49 (304,000/0.5 rating), soaring by huge double-digit percent margins in target demos over year-ago levels.

During January 2012, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 9th consecutive month in Kids 6-11 (656,000/2.7 rating), for the 5th consecutive month in Boys 6-11 (269,000/2.1 rating) and for the 21st consecutive month in Tweens 9-14 (537,000/2.2 rating) – all records in the key demos – and paced within one-tenth of a point of Nickelodeon for #1 rank in Kids 2-11 (985,000/2.4 rating) for the 4th time in the past 5 months.
