The ill-fated rollout of The Legend of Korra’s third book has finally passed, with all 13 episodes released online at Nick.com. However, five of the episodes went unaired on television. That will be resolved when Book 3 “Change” comes to Nicktoons this month.

As has been the case for a while now, the kids cable networks aren’t making many big changes and are playing things pretty safe season-to-season. In days of yore, said networks would usually change things up for the summer months and then shake their schedules up again for the fall. Not so much any more.
After two seasons and 52 episodes, Cartoon Network decided to end The Looney Tunes Show. However, one of those last episodes, “Superrabbit,” went unaired in the United States when the last premieres aired in August 2013. This Sunday, the network will finally broadcast that episode.
It would seem that Disney Channel has made the extended weekly Disney Replay block a permanent thing. Through September, the block will continue to air on late-Wednesday nights (early Thursday mornings) from midnight through 6am ET/PT.

“R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series,” the Hub Network’s hit, spooky anthology series, inspired by the master of kids’ horror R.L. Stine (“Goosebumps”), returns Saturday, October 4 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT with several stand-out guest stars.
Oddly, though not as unexpected as you might think, the Hub Network will be airing at least two Nickelodeon Movies in September – the animated Barnyard: The Original Party Animals from 2006 and the 1996 Harriet the Spy.
Announced this morning on the Toonami Tumblr page, the 10 episode OVA (Original Video Animation) Hellsing Ultimate is joining the Toonami lineup September 13th at 3am ET, replacing Black Lagoon and Naruto.
