After the surprising addition of Dragon Ball Z Kai re-runs to Adult Swim’s Saturday prime-time lineup, another long-running shonen will join its ranks.
Anime is making a return to prime-time. After garnering excellent ratings as the lead show for Toonami, Adult Swim has decided to give Dragon Ball Z Kai a prime-time re-run slot.
As expected, the second season to the previously on Toonami series, Sword Art Online, will be debuting on the block on March 28th at 1am ET/PT
The latest round of Toonami news is awfully depressing. Via the official Toonami Tumblr page, another massive schedule change is coming to the block starting February 7th.
For today’s Toonami Roundup, there’s a slew of horrible misfortunes.
Toonami’s first new show of 2015 is certainly a surprise. Studio Trigger’s Kill La Kill will be joining the lineup starting February 7th at 11:30pm ET.
After December’s Month of Movies, Toonami plans on doing some rearranging to their schedule this January, including a returning show and a long-time show leaving the airwaves.
Just like last year, Toonami will be doing another Month of Movies in December.
