‘Pete & Pete’ on NickSplat this weekend

Nickelodeon’s early ’90s classic The Adventures of Pete & Pete will be airing for the first time on TeenNick’s classic-Nick block NickSplat (including its previous version as The ’90s Are All That) for a special weekend reunion event – “The Strongest Reunion in the World!!!” – this weekend.

The Splat is now NickSplat

Nickelodeon has updated the name and logo for their programming block on TeenNick that airs and celebrates classic Nickelodeon programming both on-air and online. As of May 1, The Splat is now NickSplat.

TeenNick HD Now on TWC TV

Time Warner Cable (which was bought by Charter and will soon be called Spectrum everywhere) has launched the TeenNick channel in high definition on their TWC TV app and website, as of this week.

The channel has been available on the app before, but only in standard definition. Many (maybe all) Time Warner Cable providers still offer the channel in SD on your TV box set. However, the HD feed is available to everyone subscribed to the channel on the TWC TV app and website.

TeenNick launched their HD feed sometime between June and September. It has so far only been nationally available on Verizon FiOS and Sling TV.

The Splat Launches October 5 on TeenNick

Millennials who crave the iconic Nickelodeon shows of their childhood, including Kenan & Kel, Rugrats, Hey Arnold! and more, can rejoice. Starting Monday, Oct. 5, Nickelodeon will throw back to the ‘90s every day with the launch of “The Splat,” a new multiscreen content destination spanning television, seven social media platforms and a dedicated web site aggregating the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond.
