Nick at Nite has acquired off-network syndication rights to The Goldbergs.
Thirty years ago today, Nickelodeon launched their nighttime block for adults – Nick at Nite. Previously during primetime and overnight hours, Nick would either be “off the air” or would switch over to the Alpha Repertory Television Service (ARTS) from 1981-1985, which became its own network, A&E.
After three nights of horrible ratings, Nick at Nite has already moved to reduce the amount of How I Met Your Mother this week.
Nick at Nite and NickMom’s original live-action sitcom Instant Mom has been renewed for a third season. The Tia Mowry-Hardrict starring sitcom returns with new episodes Thursday, October 2 at 8pm.
In its biggest acquisition announcement in years, Nickelodeon’s primetime and overnight network Nick@Nite will add three hit sitcoms to its line-up starting this fall.
Nickelodeon is ending See Dad Run, the Nick at Nite original series, after the third season. The show still has five episodes from season two to air, 13 episodes in season three, plus an hour-long finale added to season three’s slate.
Out of the blue, Nickelodeon has re-acquired the ‘90s sitcom Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, starring Mark Curry. The series will join Nick@Nite’s programming hours from 6-7am ET/PT every day starting next Monday, January 13.
Nickelodeon has ordered a second season of its hit family comedy for Nick at Nite and NickMom, Instant Mom, it was announced today by Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon’s President of Content Development and Production. In addition, the series, starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Tia & Tamera), has also been greenlit for six additional episodes to add to its first season, bringing the season total to 26 episodes.

Nickelodeon will host an unforgettable weekend on Nov. 9 and 10 with two iconic reunions of legendary television creator/actor/producer Garry Marshall’s landmark series, Laverne & Shirley and Happy Days, in brand-new episodes of Sam & Cat and See Dad Run.
Old Christine is coming to Nick@Nite starting Monday. The sitcom starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Clark Gregg will air every night from approximately midnight to 1am ET/PT.
Nick at Nite’s brand-new, live-action family comedy, Instant Mom, had a strong debut on Sunday, Sept, 29, at 8:30 p.m. (all times ET/PT), bringing in over a million total viewers and raising both A18-49 and K6-11 viewing levels double digits over last year.

Nick at Nite has renewed their new original comedy series See Dad Run for a second season.
Ne-Yo, Neon Trees, Nicole Richie, Lucy Hale, Jesse Williams, Heather Morris, Anthony Anderson, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr, Victoria Justice and the cast of See Dad Run were among the celebs who took to the Hollywood Palladium stage to join host Nick Cannon in honoring five extraordinary teens for the 2012 TeenNick HALO Awards live event. The fourth annualTeenNick HALO Awards was held today and will air as a 90-minute special premiering Monday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), on Nick at Nite, with an encore Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 10 p.m. (ET) on TeenNick. Conceived, hosted and executive-produced by Cannon, the awards show recognizes and celebrates real teens who are “Helping and Leading Others” (HALO).

Mark Curry (Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper) also stars as David’s friend, Marcus. Nick at Nite will air the pilot of See Dad Runon Saturday, Oct. 6 at 9p.m. (ET/PT), with the series airing regularly on Sundays at 8p.m. (ET/PT).
