For the first time in quite some time, Boomerang is drastically altering their line-up. The only new addition is the new WB Animation series, Bunnicula, which premieres Saturday, Feb. 6 at 6:30pm (all times Eastern).
Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros. announced today that together, the two Time Warner companies are deepening their ongoing partnership with a global agreement that will build on the company’s two-network strategy by strengthening the pipeline of original content being developed for the recently rebranded Boomerang, the beloved network known for its funny and timeless contemporary animation.
Momentum and growth across all screens are driving Cartoon Network into the 2015-16 Upfront. Powered by number one shows and breakout new series, Cartoon was the only top kids network to see ratings growth in 2014.
Say goodbye to the 15 years of similar packaging and logo for Cartoon Network’s Boomerang channel.
While we still don’t have an official rebrand date, it’s clear Boomerang is moving toward that direction very fast.
Still gearing up for a 2015 rebrand, Boomerang will celebrate Christmas with nightly specials starting December 15.
