KidsClick, the new broadcast television kids block from Sinclair Broadcast Group, was announced on May 2nd and will launch July 1. The block will run three-hours each morning and can be seen on Sinclair-owned broadcast stations (i.e. your local Fox, MyNetworkTV, The CW stations, etc.) and nationally via ThisTV affiliates. The official website is at KidsClickTV.com and they also have a Twitter and Facebook.
Of the ten series at launch, most of them are returning to TV. Sonic X and RoboCop: Alpha Commando have previously been on broadcast TV. Miraculous and Rocket Monkeys were on Nickelodeon. Max Steel and Pac-Man were on Disney XD. Pink Panther and Pals was on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. The Angry Birds shorts are coming to TV for the first time. Super 4 and Scary Larry are new to the U.S.
The official website also shows Zak Storm: Super Pirate, a new series from the Miraculous team and Man of Action (Ben 10), coming to the block but is not currently on the schedule. It is likely launching later this fall.
Here’s the launch schedule starting Saturday, July 1st. You’ll need to check your local listings for exact times and to find your channel.
