NICKELODEON GREENLIGHTS ADRENALINE-PUMPING COMPETITION SERIES, PARADISE RUN,
FOR SEASON THREE
BURBANK, CALIF.–Mar. 9, 2017– Nickelodeon today announced it has greenlit a third season of its pulse-pounding Kids’ Choice Award – nominated competition series, Paradise Run, with Daniella Monet (Victorious) returning as host. The hit series, which year-to-date is one of the top five shows with kids 6-11 across all TV, follows three teams of kids racing across a luxurious resort in Hawaii, competing in a sequence of funny and adrenaline-pumping challenges. Paradise Run is produced by Stone & Company, with Scott A. Stone and Marcus Fox serving as executive producers. Production will begin in Hawaii this spring.
“One of the great things about working with Nickelodeon is that every season they ask how can we make Paradise Run bigger and better, and I am thrilled to say that this season will be no different,” said Scott Stone, Executive Producer. “Last year we added a 200-yard zip line and special Nickelodeon celebrity episodes. Wait until you see what we have in store for season three!”
Shot against the beautiful backdrop of Hawaii, season three contestants will face some of the most challenging and complex obstacles, with even more surprises at every turn, as each team vies for the ultimate prize–a paradise vacation.
Last November, Nickelodeon aired a week of celebrity episodes featuring fan-favorite Nickelodeon stars which reached almost eight million total viewers and posted double digits year-over-year gains with its core demo.
Paradise Run is produced by Stone & Company Entertainment’s Scott A. Stone, producer of Nickelodeon’s Emmy®-nominated BrainSurge and a creator of the classic Nick gameshow Legends of the Hidden Temple, turned into a Nickelodeon original TV movie, Marcus Fox also serves as executive producer (Road Rules, The Osbournes).
