Powered by the series’ launch of “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” the 24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked #1 for the 46th consecutive month in Total Viewers (544,000), Kids 2-5 (234,000/1.5 rating) and Boys 2-5 (109,000/1.4 rating) – every month since reporting public ratings on April 1, 2013 – for the 43rd consecutive month in Girls 2-5 (125,000/1.6 rating) and for the 44th straight month in Women 18-49 (118,000/0.2 rating), towering over Nick Jr. by double digits (+12% to +40%) and Sprout by triple digits (+304% to +436%). Overall, the Disney Junior channel reached 35.9 million Total Viewers during January 2017, including 16.0 million Kids 2-8 and 15.0 million Adults 18-49.

Across digital and social media outlets, Disney Junior-branded programming amassed nearly 140 million consumer engagements across the Disney Junior app (72 million starts), VOD (20 million transactions) and YouTube/Facebook (35 million video views).

  • “Mickey and the Roadster Racers” was the month’s #1 series among all preschooler TV networks in Total Viewers and Kids 2-5, and overall, has reached 18.9 million Total Viewers to date including nearly one-third of all Kids 2-5 (4.8 million) and 7.3 million Adults 18-49. Its January 15, 2017, simulcast premiere was the #1 cable TV telecast in well over one year among Kids 2-5 and Disney Junior’s biggest series launch in three years among Boys 2-5.
  • Disney Junior channel out-delivered Nick Jr. by double digits across all key categories: Total Viewers (+19% – 544,000 vs. 456,000), Kids 2-5 (+18% – 234,000 vs. 199,000), Girls 2-5 (+23% – 125,000 vs. 102,000), Boys 2-5 (+12% – 109,000 vs. 97,000) and Women 18-49 (+40% – 118,000 vs. 84,000).
