Cartoon Network Writes Off “Beware the Batman,” “Sym-Bionic Titan”
The Toonami Tumblr has announced today that at a very last minute notice to them, Cartoon Network has “written off” two series and the network will no longer be able to air them.
Beware the Batman and Sym-Bionic Titan “are being “written off,” financially, as of now.”. Beware has been airing its unaired episodes on Toonami since the summer. Titan has been off the block for a little while now.
To make sure they air all the episodes, Toonami will marathon the last seven episodes of Beware the Batman this late-Saturday night, September 27 from 2:30-6am (ET/PT).
Therefore, this weekend, Toonami’s recent addition Hellsing Ultimate will be pre-empted and so will the 4-6am shows. Starting October 4, Hellsing will move up to 2am with an encore of Space Dandy episodes at 3am. Cowboy Bebop moves to 3:30am.
