“Gurren Lagann” Joins Toonami August 16th

During the July 19th broadcast of Bleach, as well as on Toonami’s Tumblr page, Toonami announced that it has acquired Aniplex’s Gurren Lagann, to begin airing on August 16th.
With Aniplex’s Blue Exorcist set to air its last episode on August 9th, Gurren Lagann will replace that show in the 2am ET timeslot. However, the schedule is subject to change, but this change seems set in stone for now.
