Disney XD Soars to Its #2 Week in the Network’s History in Prime in Total Viewers and Near Year-and-a-Half Highs in Kids 2-11 and Boys 2-11

“Kickin’ It” and “Mighty Med” Surge to 5-Month Highs in Total Viewers
and Target 6-14 and 2-11 Demographics

During the week of April 14, 2014, powered by hit original series “Kickin’ It,” “Mighty Med” and “Lab Rats,” and the animated theatrical films “Tangled” and “Cars,” Disney XD skyrocketed to its #2 week in Prime in the network’s history (includes its 10 years as Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (521,000) – behind only the week of 7/16/12. Last week was its most-watched week in 17 months in Kids 2-11 (283,000/0.7 rating) and Boys 2-11 (167,000/0.8 rating) – since the week of 11/19/12.

Disney XD also soared to 5-month highs in Kids 6-14 (267,000/0.7 rating), Boys 6-14 (161,000/0.9 rating), Kids 6-11 (204,000/0.9 rating), Boys 6-11 (119,000/1.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (174,000/0.7 rating).

Year to year, Disney XD surged by double digits in target demos, including by 53% in Total Viewers (521,000 vs. 341,000), by 22% in Kids 6-14 (267,000 vs. 219,000), by 23% in Kids 6-11 (204,000 vs. 166,000) and by 36% in Kids 2-11 (283,000 vs. 208,000).

  • An all new “Kickin’ It” (Mon., 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.) climbed to 5-month highs among Total Viewers (983,000), Kids 2-11 (563,000/1.4 rating) and Boys 2-11 (360,000/1.8 rating) and to 3-month highs among Kids 6-14 (544,000/1.5 rating), Boys 6-14 (352,000/1.9 rating), Kids 6-11 (406,000/1.7 rating) and Boys 6-11 (259,000/2.1 rating) – since 11/11/13 and 1/20/14, respectively.
  • Mighty Med” (Mon., 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.) delivered its best numbers in 5 months in Total Viewers (871,000), Kids 6-14 (527,000/1.5 rating), Boys 6-14 (346,000/1.9 rating), Kids 6-11 (368,000/1.5 rating), Boys 6-11 (243,000/2.0 rating), Kids 2-11 (480,000/1.2 rating) and Boys 2-11 (302,000/1.5 rating) – since 11/11/13 – and was its #3 telecast on record in Tweens 9-14 (410,000/1.7 rating).
  • Lab Rats” (Mon., 9:00 – 9:30 p.m.) grew by double digits over its week-ago telecast across all demos, rising to 2-month highs in Total Viewers (764,000), Kids 2-11 (436,000/1.1 rating) and Boys 2-11 (277,000/1.4 rating) and set 5-week highs in Kids 6-14 (438,000/1.2 rating), Boys 6-14 (275,000/1.5 rating), Kids 6-11 (326,000/1.4 rating), Boys 6-11 (208,000/1.7 rating), Tweens 9-14 (339,000/1.4 rating) and Boys 9-14 (207,000/1.7 rating) – since 2/17/14 and 3/10/14, respectively.
