“Naruto: Shippuden” Joins Adult Swim in January 2014

VIZ Media has announced that the anime series Naruto: Shippuden will join Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim in January 2014.
The series aired in America on Disney XD for 97 episodes between October 2009 and October 2011.
The press release notes that “North American fans can catch dubbed and uncut adventures featuring the world’s most popular ninja from the beginning with a new episode airing each week,” indicating that the show will start over from the beginning, though will feature scenes cut from the Disney XD broadcasts.
