Disney Channel has acquired the U.S. broadcast rights to the live-action U.K. supernatural kids series Wolfblood. The first season (13 episodes) of the series will premiere Tuesday, October 1.

New-to-America episodes will air Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) through October, with the last two episodes of the season on Thursday, October 24 from 8-9 p.m. (ET/PT).

Wolfblood stars Aimee Kelly, Bobby Lockwood (House of Anubis), Louisa Connolly-Burnham (House of Anubis) and Kedar Williams-Stirling. The series premiered in the United Kingdom in September 2012 on CBBC. A second season is airing right now in the UK.
