The Hub Network Continues to Perform Well in Co-Viewing Driven by Movies in Primetime

LOS ANGELES – The Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families, had a week of year-to-year gains in key demos thanks to a strong lineup of series and movies, including original episodes of “Pound Puppies,” “Transformers Prime Beast Hunters” and “Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters,” all from Hasbro Studios. Encores of fan favorites also performed well, including “Family Game Night” from Hasbro Studios; “R.L. Stine’s Haunting Hour: The Series” from Front Street Pictures in association with The Hatchery; and “Goosebumps” from Scholastic Media.

The Hub Network also continued to perform well in co-viewing ahead of such networks as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. The network’s success in co-viewing was driven in part by family movies, including “The Addams Family,” “MouseHunt” and “Air Buddies.”

  • A new episode of “Pound Puppies” (Saturday, 9:30 a.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Girls 2-11 (+12%), Kids 6-11 (+55%), Girls 6-11 (+62%), Adults 18-49 (+48%), Adults 25-54 (+82%), Women 25-54 (+39%) and Persons 2+ (+21%).
  • A new episode of “Transformers Prime Beast Hunters” (Friday, 7:30 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+84%), Girls 2-11 (+150%), Kids 6-11 (+147%), Girls 6-11 (+350%), Adults 18-49 (+316%), Women 18-49 (+111%), Adults 25-54 (+238%), Women 25-54 (+96%), Persons 2+ (+149%) and Households (+180%).
  • A new episode of “Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters” (Friday, 6:30 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Girls 2-11 (+282%), Girls 6-11 (+500%), Adults 25-54 (+43%), Women 25-54 (+19%) and Households (+11%).
  • An encore of “Family Game Night” (Sunday, 7 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+231%), Girls 2-11 (+226%), Kids 6-11 (+304%), Girls 6-11 (+282%), Adults 18-49 (+260%), Women 18-49 (+190%), Adults 25-54 (+336%), Women 25-54 (+250%), Persons 2+ (+199%) and Households (+190%).
  • An encore of “R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series” (Saturday, 6 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Girls 2-11 (+93%), Kids 6-11 (+24%) and Girls 6-11 (+174%).
  • The acquired series “Goosebumps” (Saturday, 5:30 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+375%), Girls 2-11 (+1289%), Kids 6-11 (+269%), Girls 6-11 (+975%), Adults 18-49 (+32%), Adults 25-54 (+125%), Women 25-54 (+123%), Persons 2+ (+227%) and Households (+81%).

Co-Viewing Highlights:

Thirty four percent (34%) of the Hub Network’s Kids 2-11 watched with an Adult 18-49 in Total Day, ahead of such networks as Disney Channel (15%), Nickelodeon (24%) and Cartoon Network (17%).

The network’s success in co-viewing was driven by family movies, including “The Addams Family,” “MouseHunt” and “Air Buddies.” Details follow:

  • The Monday night network premiere of “The Addams Family” (8-10 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+42%), Girls 2-11 (+20%), Kids 6-11 (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+231%), Women 18-49 (+235%), Adults 25-54 (+200%), Women 25-54 (+218%), Persons 2+ (+132%) and Households (+89%).
  • The Tuesday night network premiere of “Mouse Hunt” (8-10 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+103%), Girls 2-11 (+79%), Kids 6-11 (+76%), Adults 18-49 (+34%), Adults 25-54 (+70%), Persons 2+ (+98%) and Households (+35%).
  • Hub Network’s premiere of the film “Air Buddies” (Friday, 8-10 p.m.) earned year-to-year time period delivery gains among Girls 2-11 (+367%), Girls 6-11 (+800%), Adults 18-49 (+19%), Persons 2+ (+11%) and Households (+31%).
