See Dad Run

Starting this week, Nick@Nite will move the premiere episodes of See Dad Run back to its original timeslot of 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Sundays.

The Scott Baio starring family comedy moved to 8:30 p.m. in February where it was supposed to follow new episodes of the new series Wendell & Vinnie. However, Nick made a last minute decision (boy, that doesn’t sound like them) and took what is obviously a more adult-leaning comedy and placed it on Saturday nights to lead-off Nickelodeon’s premiere block that includes Marvin Marvin and Supah Ninjas. The Sunday night timeslot therefore became a next-night repeat, giving See Dad Run a weaker lead-in.

Last week, Nick flipped the Saturday night premieres of Wendell and Marvin around, which didn’t help the block at all. Each Saturday night series saw near or record low viewership, with Marvin scoring the ‘highest’ at 1.8 million viewers, Wendell notching almost 1.4 million and Supah Ninjas coming in last with just over a million total viewers. Before that, Wendell had managed to stay over 2 million viewers for each new episode. Thus far, the schedule for this Saturday will remain the same as last week.
