- “Yes, Dear” Joins Nick at Nite on Tuesday, May 1
April 27, 2012 | Nick at Nite's line-up of modern comedies expands on Tuesday, May 1 to include the complete library of the beloved series Yes, Dear. This 122-episode family comedy stars Mike O'Malley (Glee, GUTS) and follows two couples and their wildly divergent parenting styles. Yes, Dear will air regularly on the network Monday-Friday at 11:00p.m. (ET/PT).
- Second Season of “A.N.T. Farm” Premieres June 1
April 25, 2012 | The second season premiere of the hit comedy series "A.N.T. Farm," starring China Anne McClain, will premiere with back-to-back episodes FRIDAY, JUNE 1 on Disney Channel. In "creative consultANT" (8:00 p.m. ET/PT), Chyna, Olive and Fletcher roll out the red carpet for teen movie sensation Sequoia Jones, played by "Shake It Up" star Zendaya, who is shadowing Chyna for a movie role, but chaos ensues when she tries to assume Chyna’s identity. Hollywood Records recording artist China Anne McClain will perform her original song, "DNA," in the episode. In "infANT" (8:30 p.m. ET/PT), a baby, thought to be a prodigy, is left in the care of the A.N.T.s and chaos ensues as Chyna, Olive and Fletcher try to uncover the baby’s prodigal aptitude.

April 24, 2012 | During the week of April 16, 2012, Disney Channel dominated the competition for the 3rd week in a row, sweeping TV’s #1 rank across key Kids 2-11 (839,000/2.0 rating), Kids 6-11 (531,000/2.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (441,000/1.8 rating), and ranking as cable TV’s #1 network for the 3rd consecutive week in Total Viewers (1.49 million). Impressively, this marked Disney Channel’s 45th consecutive week claiming TV’s #1 ranking on a total day basis in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 (dates back to June 13, 2011) and the 7th time in the previous 8 weeks in Kids 2-11. It stood as the #1 cable TV network in Total Viewers for the 6th time in the prior 7 weeks.

April 24, 2012 | While once again (every week in April) claiming television’s #1 network for weekly delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, Cartoon Network also scored as the #2 network last week for early prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of kids 6-11 & 9-14. This new early prime claim was achieved by significant double-digit delivery growth among all kids demos vs. the same time period last year—average kids 6-11 delivery (664,000) grew by 29%, kids 9-14 (546,000) by 45% and kids 2-11 (897,000) by 11%.

- Nickelodeon Original Movie “Rags” Premieres May 28
April 23, 2012 | Nickelodeon rocks Memorial Day with the premiere of the brand-new original TV movie, Rags, on Monday, May 28, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Set against a New York City backdrop, this music-infused contemporary twist on the classic Cinderella tale stars Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP, Akeelah and the Bee) as international pop princess, Kadee Worth and Max Schneider (How to Rock) as an orphan and aspiring singer, Charlie Prince. Beginning May 22, the Rags Soundtrack, featuring nine songs from the movie and three bonus songs, will be available via all digital service providers. Rags is executive produced by Nick Cannon, directed by Bille Woodruff (Honey, Beauty Shop),with original music written and produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (American Idol, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé). - Nickelodeon Greenlights Three New Comedy Series for NICKMOM
April 19, 2012 | Nickelodeon today announced three new series pick-ups for NICKMOM, the prime-time, advertiser-supported TV comedy block and convergent web site designed specifically for today's moms. The three new series for television, The Judi and Kate Show (working title), Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder Taylor (working title) and What Carol Brady Thinks (working title) will join the previously announced stand-up comedy series, NickMom Night Out (26 episodes). The NICKMOM block will feature a mix of original long- and short-form programming, including talk shows, stand-up and sketch comedy, hidden camera and more.
