Sam wins a ticket to the Canadian Fat Cake factory with Spencer, Freddie and Gibby. They have an enjoyable time until their experience is jeopardized when Sam gets caught attempting to snuggle Fat Cakes across the border, leaving them in police custody. Meanwhile, Carly is getting ready for a date with a handsome guy, but gets her toe stuck in her bathtub’s faucet. How can she find a way out of it?
Hm…the first plot of the episode, where the rest of the gang visits the Fat Cake factory, was quite enjoyable. It had an intriguing story which I had fun watching, trying to get Sam out of the factory served them a challenge. Considering how much of a crazy eater she is, I’ve wondered just hot well Fat Cakes are made, and this was nice to watch. She had some nice lines in this one, as did Gibby, but the very end where she gets accidentally pulled off into another foreign country was very abrupt.
But the other plot, when Carly gets her toe stuck in the faucet, that freaked me out a little bit. The “stuck and can do very little to save yourself” concept has been done over and over, and even though this one was a tad unpleasant at points, it was still a decent one to sit through. The very end was priceless, too, when she and Lance eat Chinese food and talk. I myself didn’t like it as much first time, but afterward it grew on me.
To conclude, iToe Fat Cakes is enjoyable if you aren’t scared by the thought of having your toe stuck in a faucet. I found it one of the more enjoyable episodes of the season, though not the best one yet I still liked it. It feels more like a season three episode, not to say that’s a bad thing.
