Are you interested in writing episode recaps for Nick and More!? We’re looking for anyone interested in writing recaps for any TV show, TV movie, special, etc. on a regular basis for any program on a network we cover*.
What we’re looking for:
- One person to recap a program; however, that person can recap as many programs as they are able to
- Recaps for new episodes should be submitted within a few days from its premiere
- Recaps for older, non-new episodes are welcome
- Someone capable of writing at a typical high school graduate level, with proper formatting, spelling and grammar. Recaps should use detail to explain the episode, what you liked, didn’t like, etc. Not just “It was the funniest episode ever! The cast was so great!” Explain things. Use your words! ;)
- For examples, view episode recaps already published
If you’re interested, and you fit in the requirements above, email me at bryan@toonzone.net and let me know which program(s) you are interested in recapping. Please include a sample of things you have written, either as an attachment or link to a sample of your writing on the internet, OR write a “test recap” to show your skills (this may be the better option, if you are able).
You’ll receive an email response IF your writing sample is accepted.

* In case you’re not sure, Nick and More! covers the networks of Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, TeenNick, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and The Hub (all in the United States) on a regular basis. We’re also open to the Canadian networks YTV, TELETOON and Family.
