Cartoon Network Ratings Highlights for 2011

Across 2011, Cartoon Network recorded its most watched year ever in Prime (7-9p) with kids 9-14 (452,000).

Cartoon Network’s Early Evening (7-9 p.m.) delivery increased between 5-18% across key demos vs. the same time period last year: kids 2-11 delivery (874,000) increased by 5%, kids 6-11 delivery (607,000) increased by 10%, and kids 9-14 delivery (452,000) increased by 17%. Total Day (6a-9p) posted gains with kids and boys 6-11/9-14 vs. last year, ranging from 2-7%.

Cartoon Network’s Monday Night line-up (7-9 p.m.) of original animated comedies was the night’s #1 TV destination for all boys 2-11, 6-11, and 9-14, earned double-digit delivery gains across the board vs. 2010.

Charting double-digit growth vs. 2010 timeslot averages, original series’ Adventure Time (Monday, 8 p.m.) and Regular Show (Monday, 8:15 p.m.) ranked #1 throughout 2011 in their respective time periods among kids and boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14, while The Amazing World of Gumball (Monday, 7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with kids 6-11 and all boys.

The November 23 premiere of Level Up (Wednesday, 7-8:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with kids 6-11 vs. all television, as well as the #1 telecast of the night on all broadcast and cable among kids 9-14 and boys 6-11 and 9-14.
