Disney Channel July 11 Total Day and Prime Highlights

During July 2011, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 15th consecutive month among Tweens 9-14 (682,000/2.8 rating), its longest streak at No. 1 in the network’s history, and was No. 1 for the 2nd straight month among Kids 6-11 (871,000/3.5 rating). Also impressive, July 11 wrapped as the network’s 2nd-most-watched month of all-time among Kids 6-11, falling just shy of the record set in August 07 when “High School Musical 2” premiered (876,000).

In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as TV’s No. 1 network to 77 consecutive months among Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and to 75 straight months among Tweens 9-14 (956,000/3.9 rating). In Total Viewers (2.7 million), Disney Channel stood as cable’s No. 2 network for the 2nd straight month.

In addition, in Prime and Total Day, Disney Channel netted its 3rd straight month of increases in Kids 6-11, and 9th consecutive month of year-over-year gains – the only fully-distributed kid network that can make the year-to-year claim.

Led by “Good Luck Charlie” (2.4 million/9.7 rating) and “A.N.T. Farm” (2.4 million/9.7 rating), Disney Channel delivered the month’s Top 17 live-action series telecasts among Kids 6-11.

  • On July 10, “So Random!” hit a series high in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.7 rating).
  • On July 15, “Phineas and Ferbdelivered its No. 2 telecast of all time in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating), ranking as the month’s No. 1 animated TV telecast in the key demo, and stood as the series’ No. 3 telecast ever among Kids 6-11 (2.1 million/8.5 rating).
  • On July 24, “Good Luck Charlie” registered Season 2 highs in Total Viewers (4.9 million) and most target kid demos, standing as the series’ No. 2 telecast on record in Kids 6-11 (2.4 million/9.7 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.1 million/8.5 rating).
