  • Powered by the one-hour Season 2 finale event of “The Suite Life on Deck,” Disney Channel was Friday’s No. 1 cable network in Prime in Total Viewers (2.9 million) and TV’s No. 1 network in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.1 million/4.7 rating), crushing No. 2 Nick-at-Nite by 213% (1.3 million vs. 403,000) and 154% (1.1 million vs. 450,000), respectively. On a Total Day basis, Disney Channel ranked a dominant No. 1 in Kids 6-11 (812,000/3.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14  (726,000/3.0 rating).

  • What happens when three text-happy, techie tweens take a challenge to unplug for a week? Nick News with Linda Ellerbee finds out in Middle School Unplugged, premiering Sunday, June 27, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon. Nick News asked kids across the country to go online and nominate a tech-obsessed friend or sibling who needed an intervention. Three offenders were chosen and challenged to abstain from using any form of technology for one week. The half-hour special follows their journey as they go seven days without smartphones, iPods, computers, MP3 players, video games, TV or radio. Yep. No texts, tweets or tunes.

Mystery Incorporated premiering Monday, July 12 at 7 p.m. (ET, PT). Crystal Cove is a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep sea divers. Because of all the mystery, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot, taking in major profits and the townspeople don’t appreciate the meddling of the renowned sleuthing team.

We have a new logo, a new main links bar, more streamlined content that allows users to easily find what they are looking for, some updated images and a few other minor items.   • Across the second week of June 2010, Cartoon Network posted significant total day delivery gains among key kids demos vs. the prior four week average, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research.  Across the week, total day delivery among kids 6-11 (405,000) grew by 25%, kids 2-11 delivery (617,000) grew by 18% and kids 9-14 delivery (298,000) grew by 26%.  Prime time delivery for the week also showed growth among all kids demos, with average kids 6-11 delivery (496,000) improving by 6%, kids 2-11 delivery (703,000) improving by 1% and kids 9-14 delivery (352,000) improving by 4%.

Compared to the same time period in 2009, kids 6-11 delivery (613,000) grew by 36% and ratings (2.5) by 29%.  Kids 2-11 delivery (862,000) grew by 25% and ratings (2.1) by 24%, and kids 9-14 delivery (426,000) grew by 27% and ratings (1.7) grew by 21%.  Boys demos also showed significant gains with boys 6-11 delivery (431,000) up by 21%, boys 2-11 delivery (570,000) up by 12% and boys 9-14 delivery (319,000) up by 13%.
