NICKELODEON GIVES iCARLY FANS MORE LAUGHS WITH NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN DIRECTOR’S CUT OF THE RECORD-SETTING “iSAVED YOUR LIFE” PREMIERING FRIDAY, FEB. 12, AT 8 P.M. (ET/PT)

Extended iCarly Episode Features Seven Minutes of Additional Footage; Big Time Rush “Big Time Mansion” Premiere Immediately Following

NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2010 Nickelodeon treats fans who have helped make iCarly television’s number-one live-action series (K2-11) with an exclusive director’s cut of the record-setting episode “iSave Your Life,” on Friday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The new episode features seven minutes of never-before-seen footage, including Freddie’s mostly hidden obsession with Carly, a longer, funnier iCarly.com webcast and lots more kissing! The network’s Friday night live action one-two punch continues with the premiere of Big Time Rush “Big Time Mansion” immediately following iCarly.

iCarly “iSaved Your Life” (which originally premiered Monday, Jan. 18, 8 p.m. ET/PT) ranks as Nickelodeon’s highest-rated and most-watched live-action telecast ever with K2-11, K6-11, T9-14 and total viewers. The episode topped all broadcast programming in its time period, as well as basic cable overall, with 11.2 million total viewers.

The series premiere of Big Time Rush (Monday, Jan. 18, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT) stands as the highest-rated and most-watched live-action debut among all Nickelodeon series with kids, tweens and total viewers (6.8 million). A recent episode “Big Time Love Song” (Friday, Feb. 5, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT), finished second among basic cable’s entertainment telecasts with total viewers (3.7 million), and was number two overall on basic cable with kids and tweens for that evening, only behind iCarly.

In iCarly “iSaved Your Life,” Freddie is injured when he saves Carly from a runaway taco truck. After Freddie’s daring rescue, Carly starts to see Freddie in a different light. Sam tries to warn him that Carly’s feelings are based on guilt and not true love; however, Freddie is happy that the girl of his dreams is finally his girlfriend. Sam is involved in her own risky mission competing against Spencer in a paintball game called Assassin. Danger lurks around every corner and only one person can be left standing paint-free.

In Big Time Rush “Big Time Mansion,” when Gustavo heads out of town to check out a hot new music group, his assistant Kelly convinces him to show his appreciation for all the guys’ hard work by allowing them to mansion-sit. Left with five simple “do not do” instructions, Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan soon find themselves breaking every rule, among other things. Worried that they will be replaced by this new awesome act, Kendall calls the one person he knows who will help them out of this jam his mom.

A show within a show, iCarly follows Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) and her two best friends, Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress), as they create a webcast for and about kids their age while grappling with everyday tween problems and adventures. Carly lives with her older brother and guardian Spencer (Jerry Trainor) and produces her web show from a makeshift studio in the loft upstairs. Due to Carly and Sam’s hilarious banter and great chemistry, iCarly becomes an internet sensation and a pop phenomenon blooms with the weekly webcasts featuring everything from comedy sketches and talent contests to interviews, recipes and problem-solving.
