BURBANK, May 10, 2007 . . . Disney Channel’s stars from kid and tween favorites including “High School Musical 2”, “Hannah Montana,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “The Cheetah Girls 2” and “Cory in the House” team up with stars from Disney Channels around the world in a series of fun, action-packed challenges in the summer long multi-platform programming event, “Disney Channel Games 2007,” premiering FRIDAY, JUNE 15 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT).

The summer fun, originating from Walt Disney World in Orlando, begins with a double-bill concert by hugely popular Hollywood Records recording artists Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana and Hollywood Records’ recording artist Corbin Bleu (“Jump In! and “High School Musical”) and features a new game challenge Saturday nights through August (8:00–10:00 p.m., ET/PT) during Disney Channel’s programming line-up.  Closing Ceremonies will air SATURDAY, AUGUST 25 (8:00–9:00 p.m., ET/PT) with concerts by Hollywood Records’ artists The Cheetah, Girls, Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.

The competition prize, $100,000, will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation™, UNICEF and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The stars are divided into four teams (Red, Yellow, Green and Blue) to participate in eight games including an Eggs-treme Egg Toss, Simon Says, Dunk Booth, Dance Dunk, Outrageous Obstacle Course, Human Hamster Ball Bowling, Super Soccer and Extreme Rock Paper Scissors.

Viewers can cheer on their favorite team – and help determine the final score – through an interactive feature at DisneyChannel.com where they can compete in online versions of their favorite games and assign their online points to boost one of the four teams.  At the end of the summer, points from the games and from viewer’s online participation will be combined to determine the winning team.  In addition, original short form video content from the event will be featured on a variety of digital platforms including DisneyChannel.com.

Austin (“Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board” ), Jason Dolley (“Cory in the House”), Jason Earles (“Hannah Montana”), Kiely Williams (“The Cheetah Girls”), Kyle Massey (“Cory in the House”), Lucas Grabeel (“High School Musical 2”), Maiara Walsh (“Cory in the House”), Miley Cyrus (“Hannah Montana”), Mitchel Musso (“Hannah Montana”), Moises Airas (“Hannah Montana”), Monique Coleman (“High School Musical 2”) and Sabrina Bryan (“The Cheetah Girls”).  Phill Lewis and Brian Stepanek (both of “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”) are the hosts of the competition.

For the first time, stars from Disney Channels around the world, including Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, U.K. and Japan, will get the chance to showcase their skills when they join the team in Florida.
